 Let me explain a solution.

ADDING A CORSET TO THE BACK OF A WEDDING DRESS
It is much easier to turn a wedding dress or a once worn or vintage dress that has a zip or buttons at the back into a 'corset back dress' in order to make it one to two sizes bigger.
If the zip is in the side of the wedding dress and the dress is too small there is nothing much you to do. But if the zip is in the back there is a lot you can do. I'm going to show you how to enlarge it to fit you. So, don't buy a dress with the zip in the side. Avoid it!

. Now 2 sizes bigger.

The word corset is derived from the Old French word corps and the diminutive of body, which itself derives from corpus (Latin for body). The craft of corset construction is known as corsetry, as is the general wearing of them. Wikipedia

This dress was two sizes too small for the customer. I removed the zip and lower buttons and added fabric plus loops and my client was"Over the moon that she didn't have the expense of buying another dress."
